COVID-19 Policies

Since the mandatory statewide closure due to COVID-19, we want to assure you that we are taking the health and safety of our clients, our stylists, and our employees very seriously as we reopen the salon. There are many new safety precautions and sanitation measures that we are implementing. Below is an overview of what you can expect when you return to Headbangers Salon for your appointment.

Before Your Appointment

Your stylist may reach out to you in advance of your appointment to touch base with more specific information relevant to you and your upcoming service.

  • All clients, employees, and stylists will be required to wear a mask while at the salon. Your stylist may also be wearing eye protection for further safety precautions.
  • Please arrive on-time for your appointment and allow an additional 5-10 minutes for check-in.
  • Please come to your appointment alone (no extra guests or children) for the time being.


Your stylist may ask you to contact him/her directly rather than approaching the reception staff at the front door of the salon.

  • You may be asked by a salon staff member or your stylist to have your temperature taken using a no-touch digital thermometer and you will also be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to your service. If you wish to read and print the waiver in advance, please download it here. The document will appear in a new window.
  • Upon arriving at the salon, we will check you in and ask that you wait in your car until your stylist is ready to see you.
  • Our reception area and beverage bar are currently closed to minimize traffic within the salon.
  • We will continue to practice social distancing of 6 feet in the salon (except between you and your stylist during your service).


  • All stylists, employees, and guests will be required to wear a mask while in the salon and to wash/sanitize hands before your appointment.
  • Stylists and employees are following strict sanitation and disinfecting procedures all day long. These procedures include but are not limited to frequent hand washing, disinfecting chairs, styling stations, and tools, disinfecting door handles and knobs, restrooms, and all high touch areas. Capes and smocks are one-time use only, per client.
  • We ask that you keep your personal items to a minimum and for you to disinfect your phone (or any other items sitting out) with a wipe.
  • ugging and handshaking and anything other than the required contact to provide your service should be avoided at this time.
  • All retail purchases can be made three ways, through the Headbangers Salon app, by asking your stylist to bag them for you OR you can place an order online and have it shipped to your home. Salon staff will have your purchase bagged and ready as you walk out. For the time being we will not be handling cash or checks.

If you have an underlying health condition we ask that you wait at least 14 days to return to the salon. In addition, if you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment. Our Policies

Our Service Guarantee

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at Headbangers Salon. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.


All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge.

The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date.

It is important you contact the Salon as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for a corrective service.

Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.

Right to Refuse Service

Headbangers Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff.

Return Policy

We are happy to return any retail products you purchased within 7 days of original purchase. No cash value is given and an in Salon credit will be issued.

48 Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that due to your busy schedule you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us.

In order to respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. If an appointment is re-scheduled 3 individual times within the 48 hour window you will be placed on a walk-in basis only.

This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment time should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior will result in a $50 fee charged on your next service.

No Show

In order to respect the time of our Stylists, if an appointment is no showed you will be subject to a $50 no show fee and serviced on a walk-in only basis. Please be advised if you NO Show on a Re-Do Reservation we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.


Please be courteous to your Artist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment. Habitual offenders may be charged an additional $25 or refused permanently.


Headbangers Salon is a Family Friendly Studio, However, all children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a Child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service being performed.

Headbangers Salon accepts all major credit cards, check, and Cash.

Keratin Treatments

Keratin treatments are wonderful and everyone enjoys them. However, they take a very significant amount of time for us to complete the full service. When they are cancelled with short notice, the artist loses out on the money from the service plus any services they could have performed on other guests. Headbangers Salon reserves the right to take a $100 non-refundable deposit when scheduling these appointments. This deposit is credited toward the service the day the service is performed. This ensures that the guest is serious about the service and not wasting the artist's time. If the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours of the scheduled service, the guest forfeits the $100 non-refundable deposit.

Online Scheduling

Your request will be scheduled based on Artist availability. Your request is not approved until you receive confirmation from Headbangers Salon.

Head Lice

It is against Salon Policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.

Gift Certificate Policy

  • Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards can't be replaced.
  • Gift cards must be present when redeemed.
  • All gift certificates are non-refundable.
  • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
  • Gift certificates are valid at Headbangers Salon only for all products and services available.
